My  daughter who is in Grade 4 wrote this and had it published in her school newsletter:

Halloween

9 more days till Halloween
Are you going to dress as a queen?
Ghouls and ghosts, wizards and vamps.
Don’t eat too much or else you‟ll be a crampy vamp!
Candy, Candy, gummys and lollipops.
Sneak quietly, and wish for a gumdrop.
Spirits dance around.
Where you think they can‟t be found.
Watch out for real cackles.
Lightning will make a crackle.
Halloween, Candy and treats.

Remember, sneak around without a peep!
