I just heard about the school shooting in southwestern Germany.  At least 11 people dead.  It just breaks my heart.

I just don’t understand what is going on with this world that people would target children.  Our children are innocent, they are good, they are the light, the future.  As parents, when we drop our children off at school every morning we believe they are safe.  I cannot even imagine the horror of finding out they were involved in something this horrific.  It really is a terrible thing.

My heart goes out to the families and loved ones involved in this current tragedy.  If our children aren’t safe at school, where is left?
